Hello I am Mary Stanley, Clinical Psychologist. I entered the Psychology profession as a mature age student after a senior executive career.
I love my work in public mental health and have wide ranging experience including working in the tertiary sector, organisational psychology, hospital settings and private practice. In February 2023, I commenced consulting on Fridays face to face or via telehealth based on St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
What clients do you see?
I am happy to see clients 18 years of age and older, including older adults. I have wide interests, with specific experience in helping clients recover from trauma, major life events and health related concerns.
If you are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to assist with an eating disorder or an ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment, I am happy to recommend an alternative provider with specialist skills to help.
Do you use a specific form of therapy?
I use best practice, evidence based therapies . I adopt a person centered approach based on your presentation and life experiences. My passion is to help you become your own therapist by improving self understanding and providing you with some practical skills to use in your life.
